January 13, 2026
Erasmus+ group mobility Culture Action Europe Nordic Hub conference
January 27, 2026The Swedish cultural sector is about to get a major infusion of international inspiration!
Intercult Academy is thrilled to announce the launch of “Intercult Academy on Tour,” an ambitious series of international mobilities designed to connect Sweden-based artists and cultural workers with the pulse of Europe’s creative landscape.
Thanks to specialized international mobility grants, Intercult will support participants as they travel to key European hubs for intensive training and professional development. The 2026 calendar is packed with opportunities to gain fresh perspectives and build lasting networks:
-
April: Riga (Latvia) & Madrid (Spain)
-
June: Brussels (Belgium)
-
October: Maastricht (Netherlands)
-
November: Leuven (Belgium)
We are pleased to collaborate with Culture Action Europe (CAE) on the programs in Riga and Madrid. CAE is a major European network of cultural organizations, artists, activists, and policymakers. It serves as the political voice for the cultural sector, advocating for policies that recognize culture as essential for sustainable societies, democracy, and security. Their work is vital in bridging the gap between cultural practitioners and EU policymakers.
This program is a commitment to the long-term growth of the Swedish arts community. These opportunities are made possible by the European Union and a significant milestone for our organization: Erasmus+ Accreditation.
This formal recognition ensures that Intercult has a secured, sustainable pathway to provide consistent support for knowledge exchange. It guarantees that Sweden’s cultural workers have a permanent seat at the table of European professional development.
