It is now time to present the third part of the series.<\/p>\n<h5>Democracy for all &#8211; how to increase political participation and build trust<\/h5>\n<p>Sweden has historically had a high voter turnout, but behind the numbers lies a growing divide. In some neighborhoods, participation in democratic processes is critically low, creating a democratic deficit where large parts of the population feel neither represented nor heard. How does this affect community cohesion, and what is needed to rebuild trust in our shared institutions?  <\/p>\n<p>In this lecture, <strong>Ahmed Abdirahman<\/strong> reflects on how we can break the negative trend where socio-economic background and place of residence determine the degree of political influence.
