For the second year in a row, we are thrilled to present the Intercult Academy with this year\u2019s theme: Digital on Stage<\/strong>! The event is a part of Stockholm Fringe Festival<\/a> (#STOFF2025), and supported by the Creative Europe programme, and will be organized on 27, 28 and 29 August 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

This August in Stockholm, discover a unique line-up with workshops and networking events revolving around digital tools in performing arts – everything free of charge! From AI-driven narratives to dancing in VR and projection-mapped set design. Explore how technology is reshaping the future of performance and transforms the stage into a digital playground!<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span><\/i>Hand-tracked VR experience where movement and dance become intuitive, playful ways to interact and express yourself.<\/span>

13:00-16:30 AI tools for storytelling in the performing arts (Workshop)<\/span><\/i><\/a>
\n<\/span><\/i>Explore how AI tools can be woven into artistic processes as a way to discover new workflows, develop ideas, and expand storytelling.<\/span>

18:30-21:30 Rumtiden Idea Lab After Work <\/span><\/i><\/a>
\n<\/span><\/i>Join us at Rumtiden Idea Lab for an immersive evening at the crossroads of technology and art, marking the finale evening of the Academy with informal mingling and drinks!<\/span><\/p>\n

DAY 3 – 29\/8 INTERCULT\/ONLINE<\/b><\/h5>\n

14:00-16:00 Theatrical Streaming as Aesthetic and Activism (Workshop)<\/a><\/em>
\nCome and explore Sk\u00e4rmteatern\u2019s artistic methods, in a playful environment. We will work with Channelle \u2013 an open-source, privacy-conscious and audience-friendly production and streaming tool made by and for artists.

Arts Dynamics<\/b><\/a> is an award winning EdTech startup in the field of arts entrepreneurship education, founded by Sofie Marin. The vision is to empower one million cultural and creative entrepreneurs globally by 2030 and bring artists to space.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rumtiden Idea Lab<\/b><\/a> is a music, art, technology, design and idea lab in S\u00f6dermalm offering a workplace and meeting point for a number of artists, musicians, engineers and programmers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Academy is part of the Creative Europe project <\/span>Digital on Stage<\/span><\/a> – a three-year initiative involving artists, venues, production houses, digital developers and cultural experts from across Europe. The aim is to renew the performing arts in Europe by promoting digital performances and supporting artists and venues in the use of new technologies.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
