Europe Direct Stockholm

About the project

Do you want to know more about the European Union and join a conversation about its future?

Europe Direct Stockholm (EDS), together with its host organization Intercult, acts as a resource centre on European issues for the cultural sector as well as for the broad target group of citizens in Stockholm. The mission of Europe Direct Stockholm is to inform the public and the cultural sector about EU-related issues in line with the priorities of the European Commission.

We have been part of the Europe Direct network since 2009. EDS is the only office in Sweden with expertise on the conditions of culture in Europe, but also with solid general expertise on European policies. Our accessibility in Stockholm, combined with being part of the European network, helps to reduce the distance between the EU and its citizens.

We monitor, communicate and analyze current information on the EU and European policies. We organize webinars, lectures and information sessions and publish information on social media.
