On December 12, 2024, the Ballet Academy Stockholm (Balettakademien Stockholm) presented its studio performances as part of the Theatre in Palm project, presented in collaboration with Intercult. This Creative Europe initiative aims to enhance the visibility and international reach of emerging performing artists and their work.

Intercult, together with Smart Coop, brought an added layer of engagement to the performances by facilitating a post-show Q&A session with the students.

The Artistic Highlights of Resonance

The students showcased their talents through the performance of Resonance, presenting a range of disciplines, including dance (professional dance training, modern/contemporary, jazz/commercial), musical theatre, acting, and the advanced preparatory program BA Prepare Advanced. The audience was treated to a dynamic and emotionally resonant show that demonstrated the students’ creative and technical excellence.

Interactive Q&A: Artistic Insights

Following the performance, a Q&A session was held, on the theme of “Meeting the Audience” and “Driving Forces”, led by Karin Johansson from Intercult and Maria Lindeberg from Smart Coop. This session provided a unique opportunity for the audience to interact directly with the performers, exploring their creative processes, motivations, and reflections on the role of art in contemporary society. The students shared thoughtful insights on how art allows both creators and audiences to connect, reflect, and be present in the moment.
