EU Day at Södertörn University

On April 8th, Europa Direkt Stockholm together with Europa Direkt Södertälje, Södertörn’s study and career counselors and International Office and EU Careers organized an event at Södertörn University!

The event was held in connection with Sweden’s 30 years in the EU and aimed to inform students at Södertörn University about the challenges that the EU is expected to face in the future, but also what paths students themselves can take to start their EU careers.

The day started with an information table in the entrance of the university where we answered questions about our activities and the EU-related questions that the students had. The afternoon started with an incredible lecture by Annika Ström Melin, journalist and former EU correspondent, followed by two discussion panels where the first panel discussed Sweden’s future and challenges and the second panel discussed career paths for students in the EU
