About the project

E-ART:

"Artists Influence-Support the co-creation, circulation and promotion of sustainability and climate change in Europe"

2023-2025

In 2023-2025, Intercult is leading the E-ART project on sustainability in arts and culture. The project is implemented within the framework of the EU Erasmus program and international cooperation projects.

E-ART aims to support artists' professional and personal development through the acquisition of new and more sustainable skills, as well as to give artists the opportunity to expand their audience. Artists with an interest in climate issues have the opportunity to become "Green Mind" role models through the creative creations that the E-ART project will result in.

E-ART's objectives are:

-Highlighting the need for more sustainable materials in art production.

-To raise awareness in both the arts sector and the public sector of the importance of social and environmental adaptations.

-to upskill and reskill arts professionals, to acquire new knowledge, and to teach new and more innovative and sustainable practices.

E-ART aims to achieve this by:

- The development of an adult curriculum and course on innovative sustainable arts practices (VT 2024).

- Art labs and digital artist residencies (2025).

- Information campaigns.

- Local exhibitions in each partner country (2025).

- Online exhibitions.

- The development of an online platform and material library that will house all the sustainable artists, practitioners and artworks involved in the project.
