About
Our manifesto
Artists act as a megaphone for the community, shifting power from institutions to the population to bring about meaningful change.
Artists, arts and culture play a key role in the conversation between local communities and decision-makers.
Interdisciplinary approaches and cross-border collaborations have a strong impact on local and European communities.
Intercult is an independent production and resource center for culture based in Stockholm, Sweden. We are a hub for local, regional and international cultural exchanges.
Intercult initiates and manages collaborative projects and networks where we share intercultural and international project expertise. At the heart of Intercult's activities is the idea that intercultural competence is essential in our ever-changing world, and that this competence is developed through cooperation, the exchange of ideas and meetings between people across cultural and geographical borders.

Our projects
Intercult's projects always start with a context that we want to influence. We work across disciplines and trans-regionally, inviting artists and cultural practitioners from different fields and locations. In these projects, we work with partners from across Europe.
