Welcome to the guidebook on digital innovation in the performing arts!

The publication “The Digital Realm: A practical guide to digital tools in the performing arts” highlights interesting and inspiring artists, researchers, production houses and other examples from the partner nations of the Digital On Stage project. Through research, case studies and an online survey, we have collected 120 examples of how AR, VR, AI and other digital technologies and tools are used in the performing arts. 20 of these examples come from Sweden. “The Digital Realm” is intended to serve as an orientation guide and starting point for the curious performing artist and craftsman and is therefore freely available to the public. Read the Guidebook here!(PDF)

We would like to thank all the artists, teachers, researchers and stage house managers who contributed to the creation of the guidebook by submitting their work to us.
