Woven Session #5: Burnout hangout
Oksana Kazmina and Maria Pronina
Artists are able to gain inspiration from even the smallest things and moments. It may seem that grand global changes are the perfect material for artists to be processed and reflected upon. Indeed, current pandemic crisis has boosted creativity and inspiration all over the world, still much of artistic processes remain invisible. Such as burnout, psychological pressure and creative blocks.
How do artists react to crisises? Do global changes bring more inspiration, or is it a massive artistic burnout and challege for creativity? Ukrainian artists Oksana Kazmina and Masha Pronina talk about their journeys from inspiration to burnout and back during the pandemic, and share their hacks and secrets. Invited guest and friend, Ukrainian filmmaker Sahsko Protyah, will join the discussion.
